I’m looking to detail the inside of my little 2002 17’ Seapro CC. What products do you reccomend to try and bring the shine back? I know it won’t look brand new, but would like to make the inside walls/Console/ and rails look better that what they are now.
3M Marine Restorer and Wax, 09005 Designed to remove HEAVY oxidation, chalking, fading, minor scratches, rust and exhaust stains; plus provide protection on fiberglass/gelcoat. Liquid. Unique formulation combines a rubbing compound with a special blend of waxes which restore shine and protect in one application.
X2 what ChrisV said. I just did that EXACT process on my Sea Pro two weeks ago and it made a huge difference. I added another step in the beginning to take off the water scum line and stains under the boat by using On-Off. Works like a champ. Boat looks a lot younger now. Everyone I talk to, including myself, love the 3 step 3M products.
Bring it to us, we will take care of it for you. After you buy all the materials and tools, you don’t save that much. If not what Chris said. Sometimes a bath with 2000 grit sandpaper gets the surface ready. You must remove the oxidation before you lay down the wax.
