My track for Dewees Inlet has worked okay until this week, when I drug bottom in a couple of places, coming in at low tide. Its been a few months since I was through there, and I’m not sure whether the cut has shifted, maybe in the storm last fall, or what?
But looking back at the breakers it appeared I need to be farther south for crossing the bar. Does anyone else think the cut shifted? Or do you have a good coordinate for where to turn away from shore, heading out?

Hard to say exactly where the “channel” is thru that area. I haven’t run it in a few months so I have no firsthand knowledge to share. Reading the water is the best way to approach that inlet. Last summer it was almost like an S curve to get in or out of there.
After being released, a lot of fish die, but a lot of them live also.
In January I came in through the inlet and it was still like an S turn. The cut is about 3’ to the NW of that set of breakers that come out of no where. Lowest I got was around 24"
