Yesterday mom and dad called to say they were coming by and we could go get something to eat… had just gotten home from working my third 12hr night shift and not feeling like fighting all the weekend people here I headed to the refrigerator…donnie laughed and said…let me see you pull a rabbit out of your hat again…
this is what I came up with
1- large rotisserie chicken
some hot sausage
chicken broth
butter
flour
rice
salt/pepper
onion
shredded carrots
Green beans(ham juice I had frozen for seasoning)
chicken/sausage and rice …(also had sauteed onion in the stuff that I cooked down for it)
chicken and dumplings( added a little shredded carrots to broth)
deviled eggs/cut tomatoes/pickled beets
Tonight it was lean thin sliced pork chops(fried in light oil)
squash steamed down in onions and diced bacon
REAL augratin potatoes(meaning I sliced 'taters and grated cheese
<the crabs were a joke :)>
homemade cheese cake made with “light” cream cheese and sugar frre pie filling
tried to cut a few calories/fat where I could
miss’n fish’n
