I have a core and all corresponding parts to this engine. We cooked the cylinders in Titusville many years ago. I’m looking to find somewhere that would purchase. T&S Marine in Maryland will take and rebuild; but I would prefer to unload it locally due to cost of transportation.

Can’t help you get rid of that one. Not many that I know of around here care much for the 3208. Were a lot of em put in School busses. A lot up in Alaska still run em in boats. If you don’t need a crank a basic rebuild kit (piston, liners, bearings and gaskets) would run you around $1500. You can pick up a complete Running 3208 around $2500- $3500. You might get lucky and sell it on Ebay in the $400-$600 range? Or hang on to it till scrap steel prices go back up.

Thanks for the input. No longer own the boat. Just trying to get it somewhere it can be rebuilt and get some cash for it. It’s heavy in boxes and on shelves. Just need it to be gone. Knowing in advance where to take it for cash would give me the proper motivation I need.
