John boat wouldnt start early Saturday mornin, had to switch to the trusty Yak. Put in at El Cid and filled the bottom of my Yak with about 100+ shrimp in about 10 casts. Headed across the Ashley to the same ‘ol oyster point. Some ass hole in a Sea Craft pulled up 25’ behind me and started thrown his bottom rigs toward the oyster point. Thing is I was between him and the point. One 3oz weight hit my bait bucket which was floating about 2 feet from my yak. We had words and he finally left 15 mins later with no fish. As soon as he left the fish started biting :smiley: I missed alot of good hits but ended up landed 4 trout: 3 @ 14" (released) 1 @ 20" (cooler). All caught on a cork with live shrimp. All in all the day started out kinda sketchy but ended pretty well :sunglasses:

uhm he hit your bait bucket with a 3 oz pyramid? I probably would have grabbed his line and thrown it towards some gelcoat.

Yeah well he was old and there were what I guessed to be his grand kids in the boat. So I had to keep my tirade to a minimum. Besides, I went home with fish in the cooler and a smile on my face. He went home with $50 lost in gas and a boat full of pissed off 8 year olds with no fish :smiley:
