It appears that the DO levels down deep are roughly in line with the last few years for this same time. Finger crossed we stay good for a couple more months!
I caught them last night in the 50-55’ range and they were feisty as can be. Took off like a bat out of hell when released.
Nice to see that “bottom” temp so cool too. Just a few tenths off of all time low. I would think that’s helping not to drive them down way deep yet.

Yes I have been getting reports of people seeing alot of floater as well. Also I am hearing of ALOT of fish getting off half way through the fight from many people. These fish will prob die as well.
It’s not looking good. We are already a full point below where we were this time last year. For the lower “bottom” reading and over 3 points lower at the “top” reading…basically the oxygen is dropping fast in the entire water column. Hopefully this is just happening in the big pool and not across the lake. We need those fall temps to get here asap…lol…
