Does any one have acurate distance to this ?Just getting done filling boat from last trip and only burnt 24.6 gallons . and gives me a fuel burn of 2.91 gallon per mile on a round trip to and from whappo cut landing. This is on 175 four stroke and 89 grady 202 overnigth . 80 gallon tank sounds to good .

gps miles to one of fishing holes we put in was 35 miles to it and comache is few miles give or take from it just wanted to know if anyone gets that kind of good fuel milage to .
gotcha. I have a 23 Sea Hunt with a 225. I get 3.2 mpg. I am very happy with that.

I get the same mileage at reasonable speed/rpm’s with a 225 on a 22 ft cc. I have a fuel management gauge so I get to see that mileage drop to 2 mpg as I push up the rpm’s.
The mpg we got was running wide open at 40 mph plus the whole way there and back . If I backed down it would have been in the mid 3s to 4 mpg . Nice to see old boat go from 2 stroke to 4 stroke and see that theres a big difference .
Ok…ok…ok…y’all stop bragging - there’s still some 2 strokers out here that get stellar mileage…

I’ve got to get a 4 stroke. I figure it’ll take about 150 trips offshore to re-cupe my investment. I just got my Hardee’s senior citizen’s card - I might not make 150 more trips…

Go Fish, I have an older walk around Grady similar to yours - I added a floscan fuel gauge and get instant ■■■■■■■■ on how my GPH burn is going, great investment. I wish I had a 4 stroke, but my motor has less than 300 hours on it from being repowered in 2001.
When I do repower i was interested in which 4 strk would best suit a GW from the early 90’s.
What brand 4 stroke do you have? and is added weight on the rear noticeable.
