It was all I could do, to watch an episode a few weeks ago. The average recreational spear-o is 10x more competent than the “basket cases” on that show. The producers pick out the worst of the worst, in order to generate ratings. Anything “normal” wouldn’t be interesting. It’s like the “Jersey Shore” or “Honey Boo Boo” of diving.

Those guys did have better buoyancy control than a lot of the divers (not you) I have seen in videos on this site though!

The one boat with TGO!!! is pretty legit. Those guys catch fish. The one with Danyar or whatever his name is…they’re terrible

TGO is a very accomplished diver. I would have fired Danyar after about 7.6 minutes...

My favorite drama was when the guy thought he had the bends, which he noticed at the BEGINNING of his dive… while still on the bottom… in 39’ of water…

I also love watching the big guy swim around with gun unloaded until he actually sees a fish. I guess that is the sporting way to commercially fish…

I also like the shooting sound they edit into every shot.

I watch it, but I end up fast forwarding through a lot. They try to create drama that isn’t there. Before every commercial they make it seem like someone is going to die.

Is there any legal way to watch full episodes online? I couldn’t find it on weather.com. I don’t have TV.

How about their incredible fear of sharks? I would think that if you **** your pants every time you see a sandbar shark, they might want to do the rod and reel thing instead. Either that, or at least have a few wetsuits on board in case you need to change.

I would watch it if they only showed underwater footage of fish and shots, no face cams with microphones. I cannot figure out who actually enjoys watching people argue about obviously producer created drama.

Can anyone tell me what time this show is on? I have Direct TV. I don’t watch much TV as I’m always out raping and pillaging the local ecological system! But it might be good on a day when the wind is blowing!

If it got any better I couldn’t stand it.

This seasons over but it came on Sunday nights, might run some re-runs soon

Ritchie Zacker and Paul varian are both legit shooters. Talking to Ritchie and he said the episodes are heavily chopped up and edited. Not even close to how anything actually went down.
