loaded the boat with 5 divers and went looking for some clear water south after reports of crappy viz to the north on fri!jordan started out the day with fresh sausage and egg wraps, sweet breakfast! tried some #s around the deck house and the viz was around 15’ and milky. grabbed a few bugs but no shooters. miss emily called and said they were having success farther north so we made the run and it paid off. they invited us to dive their #s but we had a lot of our own within a few miles so we moved on. ended up with some gags, scamps, 7 lobster(eric caught 3 from 8/10lbs with eggs, released. proud of him)a queen trigger and a few other bottom dwellers. 20’ viz and 78 on the surface and 72 on the bottom, first time we have seen a thermocline this yr. the viz has gotten worse the last 2 weeks, all the rain i guess. eric provided our lunch, shrimp and fish wraps, outstanding! crew would not let me take a pic with this old girl, said I had more barnacles then she did! we got our stud muffin from rock hill, loose shoe to compliment my large bug.
had a great day with marvin aboard NO LIMIT with realfish01, loose shoe and jordan. can’t wait for next weekend!
