Hey guys, I know I asked for pictures last time but Im going to do it again. Ive been looking online for plans to make my own outriggers for my kayak. I thought I would ask all of you first to see if anyone has made their own or has any plans to? If so please post some pictures so I can get a general idea.

I did the PVC and pool noodles. It’s stable, but acts like a barge. I would use aluminum in the arms or as I did, just put a wooden dowel in the PVC.
My suggestion is to get the bullet shaped crab trap floats. They look like they would flow better when paddling. Let me know if you need any other opinions

Thank you that does help. I was thinking the trap floats as well, im just trying to look for them online for cheap as well as figure out a configuration that would work. My kayak is a sit on top without an access hatch so I am not quite sure how I can secure them down? any suggestions?
