DNR check

spent a few hours last Thursday looking for turkeys in Moultrie WMA. Had a DNR guy waiting when I came out of the woods. I was driving a silver suv and he said someone in a silver suv had been in there hunting on Monday. He asked “how did you do Monday?” I told him Thursday was the first day anyone could hunt there. A brief check of my license and tags then spent a half hour just chatting. Nice guy, polite to start and really friendly once he realized I wasn’t who they were looking for. Oh, I also didn’t see any sign of turkeys.

Yep, treeboy, I mean nature boy should read this so he can get some edumacation about what people do on WMAs

I was hunting the FM before you were out of high school. What is it that you think I don't know? I do know the difference in a jake & a mature gobbler. And I do know that hunting the WMA is not like hunting private property. Someone might shoot "your" turkeys!!
