I got my new fishing license Monday and low and behold; my shrimping license and tags came with it. Wow; DNR just saved 50 cents not having to send me the tags later. I am license # 42 and don’t have to wait until September to wonder if the tags will ever arrive. With 10000 plus shrimpers; it appears they finally got a few smarts and will save at least $5000 in postage this year. My tags are already on the poles and the shrimp better beware as the new 9’ fast sinking homemade net is ready to go.

This year has got to be better than last. I never even made it down the reports were so bad. The freezer is pretty much empty of shrimp, dolphin, etc… Needs restocking bad.
Glad to hear someone at DNR is actually thinking.
I also received my license and shrimp tags. The DNR can save some money if the don’t send me three licenses and two sets of tags all mailed at different times like they did last year
