DNR Fish Ruler Sticker

Has anyone seen any DNR Fih Ruler stickers lately? It used to have cathc rules etc as well as a ruler. I had one on my canoe when I was stationed here back in the mid 90’s but have been unable to find one.

The Fish Ruler stickers look like a great and convenient way to keep within the law. I have always been partial to the Lawstick (http://www.boatersworld.com/product/476981709.htm).
Is there an advantage to the sticker. I see that it won’t fall overboard. On the other hand, it seams like it might be advantageous to have the ruler able to move to the fish sometimes.

For me it’s a matter of less to load in my canoe and carry. Yes oh the shame I’m canoeist not a true yakker.

That is a good point. I may be switching to the sticker.

It is not that difficult to switch from canoe to kayak - it only takes $$$. :sunglasses:

Wasn’t there some sort of issue with the DNR fish stickers last year? They were getting baked in the sun and shrinking up measurments considerably.

I’d say if it’s close to a limit and the sticker may be off to err on the side that WON’T get you a potential ticket from DNR.

for sho.

Best thing to do is use a sharpie marker to make your own fish ruler in your footwell or on the side of your kayak.

My kayak will not be a billboard for that gaper dnr fishrule sticker.

I painted tic marks on most of my rods with nail polish for when I’m out of the boat. Works for me.
