looks like another one of those Folly sails that dont want to pay for a regular slip fee and tie up to a public landing dock
Looks like he tied up on one of those 6-6 to 7+ ft tides when the water at Folly is higher than the dock… and forgot about the ebb.
Here’s hoping for a new moon and a strong NE wind! Sailors’ are an optimistic crew and need nature to bail us out sometimes.
I saw that boat yesterday just before dark, and it didnt look like that.
he tied up evidently at high tide, tide went out, and the keel is holding the boat up.

Stopped by the ramp when at Folly Gras. Looks like one the the Folly Creek derelict boats (no engine, sails, running gear)towed to ramp. Perhaps it’s there just awaiting a lift and disposal.

I hope it’s the derelict boat removal option. Don’t like Folly Creek as a fiberglass hull graveyard.
And at about 4 it was sitting like this after having tore the side of the dock up and snapping off a cleat on the dock. Got ahold of parks dept. and folly pd and neither seemed too concerned. Boat is floating for now but basically scrap.
