Dear BW…Sad to hear of that venerable sandwich’s demise. I would guess that the cost of beef had something to do with it. They’d probably have to charge $15 to make any money on it. Although I don’t do carbs anymore, the milk shakes at Melvin’s in Mt. Pleasant with the whipped cream and oreo cookie on top were killer, and I do miss those thick fries and spare tire onion rings. (**(), I need to go work out after just thinking about them!
