Hey guys I’ve be topping out around 23-25 mph (gps) by myself and gear.Center console J16. Around 20 mph with two people. I took the cover off the engine and put the throttle all the way up to full throttle and this is what I got. Looks like it only opens 3/4 throttle. Cable is maxed out with adjustment. The only other adjustment is a flat head screw on a metal rod on the throttle leakage.
I would say no.
that small amount of movement doesn’t look like its going to increase air flow, but a simple test of putting it in the water and running it while moving it with yourhand will let you know for sure
