Penny, Here’s a good price on the MotorGuide version: http://www.anchorexpress.com/Motorguide-Mounting-Plate-MGA515A2-p/mga515a2.htm . The DogBone looks a little more substantial. Either should work just fine.
edited to add: Roo would probably prefer the Dog Bone:smiley:
dog bone is the one to get. i have them on a minnkota and a motorguide. better than both mfg’ers version.
jim…thanks so much for the trollin motor…cant wait to get it on there…then maybe I’ll get to at least drive something on the little boat!!!
went out today and donnie drove the whole time…said it was so i could stand on the bow and cast while he put me in position…yeah right!!!///my little boat is quickly becoming “his”…did get to drive some today…oh yeah…and I “got” to load, hook up, and then later wash and put everything away…lol…really though…glad he’s enjoying it! was great seeing ya’ll yesterday!!
P-K…probablly going to order him one for his early birthday presents…I just love buying him gifts that I want ![]()

Penny, Y’all are certainly welcome, great to see y’all, too. I hope that it gets you on some of those skinny water bass. Elizabeth really likes the bracelet and says thanx, again. I’m glad that P-K gave some first hand experience. I’ve been using the Swivil-EEZ bases for a while, but I’ll probably try a dog bone on the next TM that I rig.
Take care and have a safe Memorial Day, Jim
