This is a Solv-it Telescoping dog ramp for your truck or suv. It is made of black heavy duty plastic and has carpet walkway. Purchased it new 2 years ago the dogs still insist on jumping in the back rather than walking up the ramp. The pic shows it on the back of my 3500 dually just to give you and idea. ahh, this seems like a weird question but why can’t you just lift your dog into the bed or let him jump up as you stated? it seems like it would take longer to set up the ramp and to just pick up your dog and put them into the truck bed? Just curious!

When I got this I had a 16 year old husky that it was better for me set this up for him. He use to be able to jump in the bed but old age would not let him.
