Dogged the snow and fished the Keys

Just got back from a quick trip to Islamorada FL. Went out with the crew on The Real Mccoy hoping to land a few sailfish and maybe fill a box with some good eats. After catching ample ballyhoo and cigar minnows we set out. Fishing was slow but steady. Landed several king mackerel and a few yellowfin tuna. We did spot a sailfish or two but never hooked up on any. I have to say though that The Real Mccoy crew was by far one of the most professionally run boats I have fished. Funny how a slow fishing day but a great crew can make for a hell of a time on the water!

Those are some big mullet.

Nice to avoid some weather. I could be wrong, but that looks like a blackfin.

Jordan, you a funny man! Black fin no doubt!

If it got any better I couldn’t stand it.

Sure is some nice weather down here right now… Besides the crazy rain we’ve had the pay two days!
