My oldest daughter and I hit hellhole today and had an awesome day together. Had 3 does she could have shot but since it was Buck Only she had to let em walk. Had a buck and doe running together that crossed behind the truck but couldn’t get a shot off. My new policy is if she doesn’t shoot then neither do I unless she OK’s it. It’s all about my kids now so as long as the deer keep crossing on us then she will make it happen at the right time! Great hunt today and even greater to see her smiling at the end of the day. This pic is her describing how big the antlerless doe’s outside ear spread was that got her so excited when it crossed in front of us!
Get their friendship, respect, and love early and you have it for life!
Good times!
Give it another 5-10 years if all the knuckle headed dog hunters don’t change and all the new rural residents against it, you may have only pictures and memories of it. I’m curious how Weyerhaeuser will treat dog hunting after buying out Plum Creek.
“If Bruce Jenner can keep his wiener and be called a woman, I can keep my firearms and be considered disarmed.”
Good times indeed.
