Would doing my own 1st service (20 hr) have any effect on my warranty. It’s a 2008 Suzuki 140. Got a brother-in-law that is a boat mechanic, just don’t want to save $100 to have my warranty voided. Thanks.

Just keep receipts for the oil, gear lube and filter purchases.
Piece of cake, a lot easier than changing the oil in your car.
Be sure to change the lower unit oil, grease the grease fittings and prop shaft and spray the motor down with CRC.
Like loosewire said, keep your receipts and make a note of what you did and when you did it, jsut in case.
