Dolphin and 350 lb marlin

Left dock at 500 am seas where great got to ledge trolled for wahoo nothing happening picked lines head east till found 75 degree water which was a long long way out ran into weed line decided this was it started dropping lines back double hook up both gaffers . agian another gaffer big bull behind it could not finish the deal on the follower . Hooked up all day some 50 lb plus fish missed too . No fish lost at boat which is a great way to start season . Ended up with 5 in boat . Decided to head in a little to try closer while trolling saw marlin free jumping plulled in and switch to black Bart’s and dredges . And go over to it and try . Dam if we didn’t hook up .hits the gold penn with 40 lb test thank god not smaller tld s. jimmy grabs rod I get behind wheel . Fish puts on airshow like none I’ve seen in awhile . Told guys where going to be here for couple hrs. Two them look at me like no way .well after half dozen runs and water being poured on reel and one fisherman heating up and water being poured on him and me driving and chasing and backing down and doing circle we wore his ass out or I should say ares. Fish measured 9 ft to the boat leader and cut off we got video off figth and fish doing a show . So great job by crew we kicked some ass for first trip of the year .buy the way where was everyone we only saw two boats out there ride home was 40 kts and like a lake .

awesome season kick off- I think most people decided to wait another week due to slow reports

Nice report!

NICE! Angler’s Dream does it again and lives up to its name on what was a very slow day for most other boats out there.

Local Boy, Just having fun.

Go Fish was that you in the regulator? Saw the fish putting on a show behind your boat. I was in the old blue downeast, we put 2 nice mahi in the boat and a bonita. Looked like yall we having a blast.

Barbaro, If you were off The GTHole deep, then that was us. Sent you a PM.

Do not tell fish stories where the people know you; but particularly, don’t tell them where they know the fish.
