Anyone having any luck offshore trolling for dolphin or any sails?

Have heard it has been a extremely slow dolphin bite. They are not gonna be here like they were ni April and Early May.

Yea we did good at the beginning of the year just wanted to run out again soon but haven’t heard many reports

Sunday was very slow. Stayed along the ledge with no fish in over 5hrs trolling. Bottom fishing was better. Please post if you have more luck when you go.

I have gone out three times this year and the absolute best i have done was on May 8. We caught 35 dolphin and ever since then it has bee wayyyyyy downhill. It seems like they were only here for about 2 weeks and after that they moved out quick.

Dolphin are still here lots of people are just running over them to get to 300’ of water.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.

I hear that! I usually fish 80-150ft that’s where I always seem to do the best

Bottom fishing a few weeks ago we had a greenhorn hook up a nice 30lb bull on a chicken rig 25 miles out. It didn’t end well.

I got into some in 135’ this past Monday and Tuesday… Not real thick… Had a number of short strikes.
