Sitting in my flats boat today, next to the dock, getting ready to head out fishing. Looked to my left and spotted a fin that disappeared under the water. Kept looking and a dolphin pops his head up right next to the boat and looks me directly in the eye. I mean I could have reached out and touched him. He goes under the water for a few seconds and then pops up again. Then he does it a third time. Wish I would have had a camera ready.
Maybe he was a democrat looking for a handout?

He is lookin for Penny. It has been a while since she has been in the boat. Her dad probably told him she was down here and he came lookin for her.

I got a very good job and probably makes as much money as you and alot more on here. Funny to here ignorance come out of people mouths these days. Anyways, JakeOnTheLake, they are very friendly and they often come to my boat while I am fishing. I was in Florida early this year at Shell Island in Panama City Beach and you should have seen all the dolphin around swimming up to everyone boats. I even got out and snorkel with them. I have videos I will post soon. Yes, they be all around Folly Beach area swimming with the boats, jet skis and with people on the paddle boards.

Here’s my dog swimming with a pod of dolphins. They came and scared all the fish away so I let my dog play. Kinda made me nervous having him in the middle of the river but it was out of boat traffic.

My kids were fishing with me about two weeks ago. We were catching a ton of small trout. As soon as we released the fish flipper would grab them and toss them around before eating them. He probably munched about six of them before the kids jumped into the water and scared him off. Very cool experience…I just wish he was eating the pin fish instead of trout.

Man I miss being able to jump in the boat with Dad and my Brothers and shoot over to Shell Island! Dad was station at Tyndal AFB and our house was 30yrds from the water. Was down that way a couple of years ago and the water is still pretty, but not as clear as it was in the late 60’s early 70’s.
I was pretty young, but I remember my older brother zooming in on Shell Island with his telescope at some nude sun bathers.

Its people like you and others on here i love as family.No hate but good communication,help and stories to tell. Honestly that bs dont bother me cause everyone has there own opinions. But i tell you one thing i want take disrespect from no dick. But yes on the real subject I love Shell Island. So many dolphins all over. Then they are so friendly. I have many videos and pictures from vacation there swimming with them this summer. If i can get pictures and videos off other phone i will definitely post them.
