Tracie, Rich Bermudez and I left Remely’s around 5 o’clock to a rather nice ocean except for the last 10 miles which got a little snotty.
Ran 130 degrees and started dragging baits in 250 feet of water with 74 degree temp. Saw action right away and boated a nice bull and cow.
Trolled on out to 500 feet but didn’t see much action out there. Ran back in and immediately got back in the fish.
On several occassions, we had fish on all five rods at the same time. With only three of us on board Reel Time it made for a comical Chinese fire drill.
Kept 10 very nice dolphin. The run back to Charleston with a following sea was quick, dry and fast.
Blue/white, blue/green islanders were the hot colors for the day. Pulled black/red skirts around the ledge for wahoo but with no succes.
