Dolphin/Wahoo

Left DI marina at 545am and headed out to a snotty sea with no real pattern. Was a bumpy ride out but we made it. 32’ Edgewater took it like a man! Found scattered weeds and rips in 200-250 ft and put the spread out. First dolphin hit and jumped to give us a show. Then “Fish on! Fish on! Fish on!” We had a quad right off the rip! First dolphin spit the hook and then the other line went down. Got 3 to the boat. Had multiple doubles all day. On the last double, the WTFB went down and the fight was on. Got the first dolphin to the boat, and waited for the second. Ended up being a nice Hoo!

We ended up staying within a half mile area all day and managed to get 11 dolphin and one Wahoo in the boat. Cruised in at 40-45mph.

Nice catch! I hate that I missed it. What’s that gash on the side of the hull from?
