Has anyone noticed they have been pounding the fish hard lately? More than usual, all tide cycles. They’re spooking about everything all the time it seems. Maybe I’m fishing too close to the ocean!
I have seen more way up Cooper River than any other years in past. Last time out last week there were several, sometimes coming all the way out of the water getting something. In the river close to Busy Park. Last year shrimping in Bulls or Crab Bank always running poles. Maybe we need open season!
Be careful what you ask for, you might just get it!

Anything that pulls drag, right?
Many Dolphin around this time of year. But I will admit, have seen more “tame” ones around Whale Branch than I ever have. Had em come up to the dock and actually had to pull in the kids and grandkids lines. Looked like they were begging for food.
Last time me and the lady were out a few days before the hurricane there must have been 30-40 right in front of the sands boat ramp. A handful of them were smaller young dolphin . A few were doing all kind of Sea World tricks.
