Are you going to Greenwich Creek Lodge on Long Is to fish with the Knowles boys (Dwayne, Ivan, Elvis)? Samantha is great.
That family has been through more adversity in the last 3 years or so than anyone should. I believe they were hit really hard by a hurricane a few years ago and have also had some serious health issues. I believe Dwayne/Samantha lost a son in a car accident last year. They’re good, friendly, hardworking people and deserve better.
That’s a fun fishing environment. The runs from the lodge or relatively short and you’ll find tons of wadeable flats. The fish are avg Bahamain size 3-5 lbs but I’ve caught 8+lb fish and seen double digit fish there as well. Weather should be ideal.
Have a great time, wish I were going (oh wait, I’ll be tarpon fishing in Tampa tomorrow!)
