Don't we have Barramundi in Charleston?

According to this we do!

Wow - i think a real barramundi is like a snook almost? Those look like mullet

What the…? Who is passing off striped mullet for barramundi?

If I can sell for that price I will lol

Bara’s are an Australian fish, but they are also farmed in the US. But those are mullet, not Baramundi

At $19.00 per lb that’s close to $100 worth of mullet!

Hahaha. I hope this is a joke. As sells stated, Baras are found in Northwest Australia inshore. Good to eat…look like a big snook. They get huge. As far as those eating mullet for 19 / kg… no words needed.

You guys keep your opinions to yourselves! For anyone else that needs fresh local Barramudi for $19 per kg, please contact me as I have some in stock!

can you brine it, debone the spine, split tail it, then freeze it for me so i can use it for wahoo and other pelagics

thats a good deal… they were $23.00 / kg

AKA; popeye mullet:wink:

This is #Murica!!! If I want to use kg, then it's a FREE COUNTRY!!!

Come on skinnee, where’d you snap the photo? This is hilarious. But not as hilarious as the waiter at waters edge that proudly told me my vermillion snapper was caught in the cooper River during their summer migration

(**() I guess I need to fish the cooper more often. There salmon spawning there too?
