Left the dock at 5, met a flat ocean on the way out. Lines in at 350’ on the 380 line. Fished from here to 800’. Most of the action is 350’ where we again ended the day. Put 19 dolphin in the box, tagged 2 for Don Hammond. Lost two nice bulls, one chewed through the leader five feet from being gaffed. Gonna have to use wire from now on for the mowie…Bite was never red hot but never got slow for us. Good day on the big pond.
Thats cool,
Obviously, it was me in the Red Fountain. we boated 31 in that spot and left em bitin big time.
We timed it perfectly. It looks like we missed the sqaull that moved throuh Mt P around 4:30.
When you said 64 miles, was that the extent of your radar range or was that where you saw the line?
When you said 64 miles, I said to the crew, Thats right in Charleston if its in that direction.
Anyway, thanks again.
Fishing on the bottom is like having sex with the lights turned off. It feels good… but I wanna see it.
Lights On!
The new sled rode fine. Little on the slow side when you put it up against the BS. We are putting in a pedastal to let us fish another line, but everything else worked out great. Burned about 150.
