Anyone using them? Do they work any better than the single sided foam? I run 3 sets and wish I could get my outside boards out a little farther without changing boards or adding something else to the boat to get the rod tip heighth up. I have a couple pieces of extra foam that i can add on.

Will the offshore boards pull out farther than the bugz? Was up at Hartwell last weekend and seen most people up there were using a big thin board, didn’t get the name of it but didn’t see them pulling either. Its just what was on their boat and on the baitshop’s wall.

In general, the bigger the board, the further it will plane out from the boat. Try some of Kevin Morse’s boards if you want to get your line out further than Water Bugz.

You can also talk to Richy about his Redneck Planer Boards.

They are on the expensive side a little bit but they pull really good and get the baits “out there” to the sides.
