anybody know what the story is on the Drayton drawbridge on the Ashley. Went up there with out of town guests and there was a handwritten cardboard sign saying out of order.
Should’nt they have to post a notice in the paper or something like that??? Did they and I missed it???
Pretty inconvenient if you ask me
Is it still down?
We had to trailer a boat to get it around the thing 2 weeks ago…were told it would be a week.

I live right by the drawbridge. It was down for about 2 weeks then opened back up for about a week. I was out there Sunday and the sign was up again. I believe it broke again on Sunday, because the operator was leaving as we were putting in. The downside is that we’re on the wrong side of the drawbridge…
leadenwahboy you could have sneaked by with the Alumacraft as long as it didn’t have a wind shield. Going up river you go to the right of the draw and idle under through the pilings. I used to do it with mine. Just have to duck down and go so slow you are barely moving.
