no man, that stuff is too much for me,there was a time though…how many f-up looks you think you would get if you had a couple rods, and 3 balloons out back?Certainly from the inland/lake DNR.
Just my opinion, but why kill any fish you are not going to eat. I think there is something in the fishing regs about wanton waste. Some people on a charter love to catch any kind of fish, eatable or not, they love the catch, not the kill and so do I.
As a teenager we would break the bills upward on alligator gars and watch them swim in tight circles before shooting them with the 44,…I now drink hard liquor because of this,…
THE BOTTOM LINE
“We catch and kill’em;…
gut</font id=“red”> and grill’em”</font id=“brown”>
See i think that is missed up for killing anything you dont eat…i am from Alabama we never killed anything we wouldnt eat. squirrel’s, deer it didnt matter so why gaff a fish then toss it.
I should have stuck the last sail I leadered to the boat but he got off.Minus his bill.
I just built a harpoon.I will use it.(Please Ryan?)
Catch big fish and you should eat well. You earned it.
There are plenty of fish out there. One with no bill.If you catch it, Ill smoke it for you.
My 2 pieces of copper.

Anybody have the recipe for Sailfish Wantons with sweet and sour dip?
I’m not very fond of Sailfish as table fare. It taste a lot like eagle and baby manatee.
It’s a great life, if you don’t weaken…
With sailfish I like to cut out the cheeks and throw the rest away…the cheeks are the only part that taste good. Use a small curved paring knife and find the soft spot right behind and below the eye socket, carefully cut it out in a circular motion.
Absolutely delicious…
If you feel too guilty about throwing the rest away, use it for crab pot bait…that way, you are “parlaying” the meat into something more edible which can technically count as “eating it” and not wasting it.

All seriousness, you are the 15000th person to make this same joke on this website. I don’t care if you eat every ■■■■ Sailfish in the ocean. Just please never put this stupid, tired ass joke on here ever again.
Thanks!!
More popcorn?

Quite possibly your best post ever.

Yea…I thought it was pretty good too…
I actually still like the “cobia sucking the life out of the ocean” post a little better…
