Dry Slip Advice Needed

Hey folks, just purchased my first boat over 15’, an 18’ 2000 Aquasport CC. Really looking forward to transitioning from daily surf fishing to exploring the coastal waters of the Lowcountry.

My current vehicle has plenty of horses but not the suspension to tow anything over 1500 lbs. Until I save up to purchase a decent truck, I was hoping yall could provide some advice on local marinas with dry slips. I live on James Island, about 4 miles from Folly Beach. I’d like to keep it less than $150-175/month if I can (I realize this might not be realistic). If anyone has any slips for sublease, or currently store their boat in a dry stack and have had good experiences with it, please reach out to me. Any advice is very greatly appreciated. Tight lines and good luck out there.

I think it might be tough to find a dry stack for your size boat in that budget. When we dry-stacked ours at Dolphin Cove about 3 years ago, it was $11/ft/month for the year, a little bit more if you wanted it just for the summer months. At the time, that was one of the cheapest ones we could find.

Appreciate the heads up Sea Tonic, we’re going to check out RiversEdge off of 526 and see what they have to offer. On another note, if anyone has a dependable used truck for sale (mileage not very important as long as you’re honest and she runs), apparently I’m in the market now.
