Hello,
Recently purchased 20’ center console with T-top and I am looking to put it in dry stack. I am a new to Charleston and the waters, any suggestions on best place to go? Like to fish so want a spot in a decent location. Thanks.

Rivers Edge is a pretty good deal, but it’s up the Ashley a bit. I stay there but don’t fish really so who cares. A bit closer is Dolphin Cove, but unless you like the smell of cooking meth I’d stay away. That place is in the ghetto. Then you have the rest; Daniel Island Marina, Ripley, Seabreeze, and Shem Creek. Dig deep for tho$e. Good luck and I like River’s Edge.
Thanks for the info!
If your new to boats I’ll give you the heads up that your boat isn’t really “washed” by the high school kid like they say it is. So if it was me, I would try to find a jet dock where you can clean and rinse your boat yourself.

I also keep mine at rivers edge. They have hoses on the dock for you everywhere. I keep a bucket with rag and soap in the boat and wash right after i get back. they will flush engine and spray off below water line. if you want to wash it really good they will set it up outside for you.

I have mine in Daniel island marina. It’s a great place and they do take good care of your boat. I’m very happy with them.

I know exactly what you mean. The best tactic is to make sure you tip/bribe them to do a better job. That only works if it’s the same kid most of the time. Otherwise you’re lucky if they hose down your trim! Just add that on as another expense of storage.

Your truly in the wrong place then. I watch them where I am power wash the whole outside of the boat and flush my motor properly every time.
So what you claim isn’t every dry stack. Daniel Island does what they are suppose to and these kids work hard.

When they flush your motors, are they using muffs and running the motor, or just using the hose connection and not running it?
