i would call late the night before if planning on stopping at Mt. Pleasant store in the morning to check on what they have. They were out of mud minnow one morning I stop in and it can be a bear getting in and out of there sometimes. With no live bait for the day.

I’ve heard from the manager at Sewee Outpost that no one was able to find local mud minnows and they were driving to Virginia And bringing 700 lbs back at a time. Don’t know if that’s still true but as of three weeks ago it was. They did have minnows last Friday.
Thanks for all the advice. I rarely get a saltwater trip in, so making the most of it is tops. I think ill try sewee outpost but call first, since its right by the two areas i plan to target. Wondering if Bushy Park will be too muddy with all the rain that came down.

Yep,too muddy indeed and now the tackle shop is closed.No place to get bait and the landing is silted in ,bushy park is a lost cause.The Wando is the place to be or either Garris landind.I hear Pea is tearing up the trout on topwater up there.He had a floating dock installed there also.Tight lines amigo.
