Durabak Non Skid???

A year or so ago, Towboat Tim or someone was doing their floor with Durabak nonskid. I’m trying to find out if it is a good product for boat floors.

If Tim or anyone else has done their floor with Durabak, please post your review and opinion of the product.

Thanks

Ross,
I noticed all my junk had white flakes on it yesterday. I put durabak in my jeep wrangler and it turned out sweet. If I remember correctly they use it on the costie choppers or used to. I’ve helped 2 other people install it in truck beds. You’re probably looking at an 8 beer project at the minimum. I think if you prepared the surface correctly by sanding down to fiberglass, wiping clean with acetone, then paint I don’t see how it would come off. I’d recommend the stuff without nonskid. The nonskid version which is what I used has a very course sand mixed in. The paint itself is textured so you won’t slip when it gets wet. If you have any left over paint your speargun for a custom look.

Thanks Graham. I’ll call you to find out more.

I wuld like to see some pics of the durabak installed if anyone has some. Is it better than Emron for decks?

the non skid stuff is gournd up rubber, I did teh entire inside of my Mckee with it and it turned otu decent, it did what I wanted it to do. Go to wellcraftv20.com and do a search, its covered pretty good on there
