"Earl E Bird" 5-3-15

Fished in the Georgetown Meatfish Slam tournament. Started on the northeast end of the hole in 180’ all by ourselves. Caught a couple of blackfins at first light, picked our way to the south listening to the radio hearing everybody running each other over. Stayed inside most of the crowd in 145’ to 165’ until I had a chance to get outside of everybody and work back to the northeast. Caught some wahoo shallow around a log.
Ended the day with 10 blackfin,13 dolphin, and 3 wahoo. No real big fish but had the right three to win the aggregates for tournament. My youngest son won youth angler with 27# dolphin. great day in the ocean.
