Early start and picked up a hatchling of a flounder. Then on to a 20” Red and shortly after rat of a trout. Then on to bigger things and found an 18” flounder that swallowed the hook
Red tagged kept flounder (bellied up from bleeding). Dinner

Did you catch anything Friday?
I was the fella putting in beside you
I was gonna stop and say hello but it was too early
I called the law on that truck driver blocking all the parking spots
Figured you or the crab man would have straightened him out
Sman you should 've spoken. I see numerous truckers there tacking a rest and I just proceed to the larger parking spot. At my age a little exercise don’t hurt. we all have to get along or ride alone and I prefer to get along. Yes I tagged a nice 25" red that challenged my skills. I casted about 20ft towards the grass and it hit between the grass and EYE and I thought the fish had pulled off tying me in the grass but as I was bringing the line in the fish was about 40 yards to the right of the boat and I had to make a decision. Follow or break off. The creek was nearly the wideness of the boat in 4 or less feet of water without a trolling motor and I trimmed up and moved enough to get control and landed a beautiful 25’er for the day. Caught a few more reds and back at the hill around 10:45. Check out the video on FB Eric Maxwell, I was amazed at seeing my fellow crabber put on a show f WILD integrating with humans. I didn’t care about another catch after that. This is why I respect the true fishermen like all of you whom read or comment and a special to Optiker, Stump, Sman, Mr. Phillips, StrechArmstrong and all I can’t call by name. I’ve got my knowledge through all of you and worked it to my liking to include Mr. Fred whom taught me a thing or two about rod selection
I copy Mr 357
I hung something with my first cast on the skitterwalker but got too cocky and he spit the hook
Ended up getting a few blue cats for supper
I’ve got the biggest beard on the river
So you’ll know it’s me
No telling what kind of boat I’ll be in
Looks like you have not lost your touch!
Another fine day on the water! I’m fairly new here and brought my snook/tarpon boat up from Tampa. I’m up in Beresford Creek area. What river/generally are you fishing this time of year? Not looking for specifics, just trying to build up some local knowledge for this time of year, etc.::::
Welcome to our region. I Fish the Cooper River, Clouter creek , Charleston Harbor, yellow house, goose Creek, bushy park, the Wando and ICW at times. In other words, just put your boat in the water and commence to Fishing. In the area you’re talking about Fishing. It’s pretty good trout fishing reds a flounder here and there. You’ll eventually find your way, especially with some of the good guys here on this site. I finished the reason that you were in on Friday and done pretty good with trouts. Hope this helps you.
