Hit the spot at 6:45am and the first cast with the red and white chicken charlie hooked up with a nice 16 inch trout.Caught 15 but only 4 keepers.Snow Birds showed up and almost flipped me over.Left the spot and headed to my redfish hole but the wind picked up so I called it a day.Let a dozen fat crabs live for another day.Water temp was 67 and clear to 3 feet until the Snow Birds showed up.After that is was no vis what so ever.On the way home saw Nick and gave him the trout. He had a fly rod going but the wind was bad.May head out tomorrow and do it again…Put the boat up.Will fish later in the week.
Good deal, Joe! Glad you’re makin’ the most of that slick ride. Holler at me when you need an experienced anchor-puller…

Luv hearing that the trout bite is still hot. Out of town today but planning to hit it first light tomorrow

Great job! Thanks for the report!
You will have to come with more skills than that, Joe has moved up to a Power Pole now! Great guy and always enjoy fishing with him. Happy Thanksgiving to all and be safe out there. As Joe mentioned, the snowbirds are arriving in flocks at this time.
