Hunted around the flat today but no result. Was hopeful when I saw fiddlers running everywhere on the walk out. Lots of water moving, tide may have been too high and too cold with all the rain and weather the past 2 days.
Anyone having better luck wading on the fly yet? Maybe I’m impatient, or maybe I’m doing something wrong…eager to at least see some tails or pushes to know I’m close.
they are out there… tailin and happy… you just need the right tide and the right flat… keep at it…

Right flat is key. I went out last weekend and saw maybe 50. Alot of them were layed up or acting lazy. There were a couple feeding well and I had three good shots, landed one on the fly. Good tides this weekend. Im excited!
