Any suggestions for beach or shore fishing in the salt

Linesider, the striper fishing down here is primarily fresh water fishing on the lakes and rivers. You will not find anywhere around Charleston to catch them in the surf like up in the NE.
You can probably have a shot at some reds, trout, whitting etc…though. Repost to the “Surf/Pier Fishing” forum and ask there. Also, you can go to that same forum and use the “search” feature and look back to last year to get an idea of what was going on that time of year.
