EB 5/20 - pics added -

left remleys around 5:30 am, nice ride to EB, started trolling at 7:30 am,

had a small bonita (released so a marlin can eat it later) and 8 dolphin, all good size smaller one 10# bigger one 16# (at scale)

head back to the hill around 3:00 pm, back at the dock and 5:30pm, and then waited 30 minutes to get boat off the water, Remleys was kind of crowded…

purple, pink and red were the hottest colors, most of the action took place between 130’ to 170’

lost a really big mistery fish,

highligth of the day: breaking in all my new reels, dolphin was no challenge for them, hope to get in some larger fish to test them later,

by radio reports looks like many people had a very good day south:smiley:,

I just upgraded all my reels from 25’s to 4/0 EXW from Avet,

very nice reels,

16# dolphin feels like a lil’ schoolie while using the 1st gear:sunglasses:,

Did the one I send make it yet?

Looking at your pics. Looks like your out riggers are on the t-top but your rigging rope runs to the gunnels. Do the ropes not get in your way when fighting a fish?

The Avets do look nice!

It was nice talking to you over the radio also. Glad you had a good day. That was the 1st Hoo on the boat I was so glad to get him in the boat.
Back at it this weekend 3 days straight if the weather holds out.

no issues so far (never had 7 lines go off at the same time, it may be a problem on cases like that) , I kind of like it on that spot, it make it easier to get the line on the clip and work the reel to let the line go,

Ted, if you read this… I thought we were going to get this problem fixed?
