Had my last opportunity to go yesterday; we went down looking for fish before setting up the poles. Mother nature wasn’t exactly hospitable to us yesterday as the rain and the gnats hit us intermittently throughout the day.
We wound up setting our poles right after sunset and came away with roughly a half cooler of mixed, bait size to shrimpzilla size (the obligatory shrimp compared to beer can pic coming up soon)… also walked away with some trout, flounder, and black drum filets in the fridge, so no complaining here.
Good way to finish up fall break, heading back up to Clemson today.
Where the Blue Ridge yawns its greatness.
Tight lines, full nets.
