Left Edisto late around 6 and lines in the water at 8. Hooked up with a decent bull right away, then everything just died. Spent a good 5 hrs trolling around the banks ended up with four in the box. All fish were caught with a green/yellow/red zuker skirt. Did have something knock down the left outrigger that just bit through the 100 lb test leader, never saw anything.
Chatter over the radio was sounding like nobody was having too much luck all day.

Yea, we had same results at the banks. 12 knockdowns and only 4 to the boat. After that it was nothing. Seemed like everybody that did well went deeper.
It was pretty much the same for us all day long too! Lot of chatter with everyone looking for the bite to be in one place. Trolled around one of the nicest weed lines i have seen in awhile with absolutely NO results. Bummer. Nice ride out though!

It was about the same for us too. We left Bennett’s Point at 5 and had a nice ride out. We started at the banks and headed south. We put three in the box right away and then it pretty much died. We ended the day with several knock downs 4 dolphin and a nice wahoo. Picked up the wahoo in 138’ trolling in. SLOPPY and WET ride home.
