Anybody still running charters offshore out of Edisto? Will have some family down there this summer and they are looking to go fishing while they are down there…have plenty of recommendations out of Chas…just trying to save them the drive.

For offshore trolling trips, Charles Yeomans is your man. He runs a monster catamaran with plenty of room to fish and ride. Catches fish.
For bottom fishing offshore, you can go wrong with jimmy skinner at Fontaine charters or Charles.

I live down here year round and my brother runs charters but as far as offshore Charles youmans is your man the marina is under new management and is getting back to the ole school ways of ole school marinas as far as helpfullness call Brian Bell or Becca Boykin at the new “Marina at Edisto” they will get u lined up 843 631 5055

Edisto GC tournament not listed on DNR website,what’s up with that?
Supposedly the previous lessee of the Edisto Marina has the rights to that leg of the GC. The Edisto Marina Association is working hard to get the rights to the tourney that has been held at Edisto. Again, more insight to the type of management that was present before the change. Who knows what might happen this year with that leg of the tourney at this point.

Bad management is nothing new for the Edisto marina.

I’ve heard many good things about Steve Fralin and Jimmy Skinner. I took my dad (78), mom, aunt and my wife off shore with Charles Youmans and had a blast. Caught many a fish and his TwinVee is very comfortable; they all took naps on the bean bags (after my wife did her nails) while I talked with Capt. Charles.
Offshore, you can’t go wrong with Capt. Charles / Singleshot Guide Services.
