Edisto River has dropped significantly in the past several weeks. Redbreast are there, still moving kinda slow with the water temp @ 69-71 degrees. I think I speak for everyone, that I hope the turnout will be nice this year with all of the high water we had in late winter. Figured I’d start a new topic so the reports could be compared. Didnt snag the big “roosters” but most were good size.
Any one else had better results in April?
P.S.=>My fishing was done between Cottageville and Jacksonboro. Tide played a big factor before dead low. Not much action on the artificial, but crickets on the bottom worked well. Saw a guy side casting a fly rod on top water. All I know, he is the man. He tore them up getting the fly under the limbs to the bank. I was impressed.
