edisto river 9/15 - pics added

had the pleasure of going on a trip with my buddies in the edisto today. picked up some scrimps from haddrells and headed out there. fooled around and tried exploring some new areas. no luck with the fish but saw 2 dolphin… i think a mom and a juvenile feeding in 1-2 feet of water for over 10 minutes. torpedoing through the shallows and creating huge splashes. awesome sight

went to the bait creek and got a few finger mullet and some larger horsey types. went to a spot on a flat where my friends had the reds waiting  ended up catching 12 between the 3 of us. 1 slotty, 2 rats, and 9 over the slot. largest was 29". i had a hail of a time. good times with good friends

also lost one over 30" when it headed straight under the boat and off! snapped some cool photos but havent had a chance to figure the picture uploading yet

nice and congrats. We hit the harbor and trout fished for a few hours before i had to work and caught 10 trout three reds and a lady fish. the fishing has been good lately. 23 to 29 inch reds are a fun size to catch. picture uploading is best with photo bucket. that way you can blur out the background to keep internet fisherman from finding and fishing out your spots. its real easy, just go to www.photobucket.com and set up a free account. it is very user friendly. just copy and past the image code and a picture will appear instead of the numbers and letters in the image code.
