edisto shrimping

All of you Charleston folks need not waste you time coming down south. All of the shrimp have moved on from edisto…mmmmmm, “I promise”… As a matter of fact I think the sound has done dried up from all of the heat… no water in sight… As a matter of fact we saw a sting ray at the pig buying bottled water and salt just trying to make back to the ocean… strangest thing i’ve ever seen…

talking to a friend, who is trust worthy, went to bennets point and coolered out in short amount of time, unknown size etc though

Definitely the most boats we have seen… My buddy has been shrimping here for 8 seasons and me for 3. There were 15 boats on our last trip…

After talking to a friend of mine, that seems to be where most of the shrimp are this year. Looks like I may be buying mine this year.

Yeah, I was telling a little white lie… Only thing is, if you go to the sound its busy… We could have walked across the boats out there saturday (day)and only got about a half cooler between two boats. Stuck with our honey hole closer to the island on the other two trips and cooler’d out…
