Had a very productive trip this weekend landing a boatload of trout and reds. As I was catching 20-30 keeper trout each day, my buddy was tearing up the reds in the surf. Believe I caught 4 o/size reds, 5-7 in the slot and half dozen undersize. Trout were to many to count. Fresh cut mullet for the surf and any type artificial for the creeks.

very nice trip for you indeed.

we drank beer and ate corn dogs! heheheh (gave the fish to friends)

What was the size on the trout?? Looks to be a couple of good ones in that top pic.

The fishing was good; it was the catching that was bad. </font id=“size2”>

biggest trout of the weekend was prob only 20" and there wasn’t any reds bigger than 30" but still great fishing.

edit: Of course there was the bullred that broke my buddy’s hook, that would have went 20-25lbs, but no picture:face_with_head_bandage:

good lookin fish there cut.

you know how it goes… without pictures it never happened.
